I have two years of experience tutoring at a community college in the school's tutorial center. I also have experience in private one-on-one sessions and some public school experience. I mainly have tutored math, but also English, writing and history. In my private tutorials I have tutored Algebra 1, Algebra 2, Geometry, College Algebra, English/composition and history. I received A's in my college algebra, trigonometry and precalculus courses for my degree. A research paper I wrote for my degree was published in an undergraduate journal for Texas history after it placed first in a state-wide competition. I am also a member of the national history honor society, Phi Alpha Theta as well as Phi Theta Kappa, the international society of two-year colleges.
