I am a graduate of Ohio University in Video Production. While there, I minored in Film and English. I then received my MFA in Screenwriting from the University of Texas at Austin, in the program which only admits seven students each year. My specialty at U of T was Comparative Literature. I am an experienced screenwriter, having worked at my craft for the last ten years, and my scripts have placed in competition at Zoetrope, the Austin Film Festival, and Slamdance. I love to teach, whether it be a full class or a single student. I was a Teaching Assistant while I was at U of Texas, and I ran a writing workshop for undergrads. I was also invited to the Ohio University as a visiting adjunct professor. One of my students have gone on to join an exclusive program for writers and another has won a award for his writing. When tutoring I assess each student's abilities and goals and mold my approach to their individual needs. I believe a tutor must be patient, dedicated, and creative.I tutor Reading, Writing, Essay Writing and Editing, Literature, and English.My hobbies are reading, working on that next screenplay, and cooking for friends and family.
