Experience
The subjects that I enjoy tutoring the most are math and science. Specifically, for math I can help with elementary mathematics all the way up to algebra, geometry, statistics, trigonometry, and pre-calculus. For science, I am highly knowledgeable in astronomy, physics, and physical science.I love to experience the moment where the content finally "clicks" with a student, that look whenever they understand a challenging concept. To me, it's like a physical reaction to learning. I like to teach the core concepts of whatever I'm teaching, as opposed to focusing on rote memorization. I feel that the subjects of math and science are all about methodical problem solving. Therefore, instilling strong problem-solving skills in my students is one of my major goals. I graduated from the University of Texas at Austin with a degree in Mechanical Engineering, and I hold a master's degree in the same subject from Texas A&M. Having worked in the engineering industry for over 15 years, I am also able to tutor industrial and mechanical engineering classes. When I'm not tutoring, I enjoy stock trading, playing gold, collecting coins, and astronomy and astrophotography.
