Part Time Math and Physics Tutor, September, 2014 - December 2015
During the semester, I am a learning support services mathematics tutor. I am tasked with tutoring students with learning disabilities in courses included college algebra, calculus and applied statistics. In addition to my work as a learning support services tutor, I also am a tutor for my peers. I have helped a great variety of students in courses including University Physics I and II, college algebra, calculus I – III, linear algebra, statistics, and finite mathematics.
HobbiesI am very competent in computer science from both a hardware perspective as well as from a programming perspective. My father is an electrical engineer and therefore, I grew up with a lot of emphasis placed on mathematics. I enjoy working with my hands in the field of engineering, but I find myself also enjoying the topics of pure mathematics, thus I consider myself to be more of an applied mathematics type person.
